Yep! For the safety of our crew members and your belongings, there is a 20kg limit on boxes. Boxes should also be taped securely shut and in stable condition.
Our rates include furniture blankets, stretch wrap, straps and dollies along with disassembly and reassembly for furniture items. However, we do not provide disassembly and reassembly for pressed wood items.

Sure! As long as the items are free of debris. However, we can’t move items that contain ants, spiders, spider eggs, rat droppings, or lots of dirt. Please re-box any such items and we will gladly transport them.
Unless otherwise confirmed, morning jobs begin between 7:00-8:30 am, and afternoon jobs begin between 1:00-4:00 pm. MyMovers cannot be held responsible for delays out of our control.
MyMovers are usually booked between 7 and 14 days before the expected move date. Please always try to give us as much notice as possible.
Our staff will carry out dismantling and re-assembling to the best of their ability. It is important that we know what is required at the quotation stage to allow for the necessary resources and equipment to be provided.
Gas cylinders cannot be transported on our vehicles unless purged. Flammable liquids, however contained, must not be submitted for removal either. You will need to make other arrangements. Equipment such as garden mowers and chainsaws should be drained of all liquids beforehand.
MyMovers crew will unpack your effects and take away all used packing material. You may also choose to have MyMovers arrange a handyman or domestic help services to help you get settled into your new home.
An authorised representative needs to be at both the uplift and delivery of your belongings. At delivery it is especially important that this person can advise the MyMovers crew on the placement of furniture and cartons in the new home.
You can pay cash or by debit or credit card using our mobile Eftpos terminal. Please note a surcharge of 3% will be applied on all credit card transactions.
Jewellery and collectible items are excluded from transit insurance cover, and as such need to be transported by you to your destination.
In addition to the dangerous goods listed above, it is prohibited to transport explosives, ammunition and toxic materials. MyMovers will not transport jewellery, money, stamp collections and the like
Yes. All boxes should be closed and tape-up. For best results, all boxes should be as fully packed as possible. Please identify fragile boxes.
